REPLACING THE CONTROL
1. Disconnect the unit f rom its pow er
sou rce.
2 . R e m o v e t h e c o n t r o l k n o b b y p u l l i n g i t
s t r a i g h t d o w n .
3. R emove t he t hree screws that retain
t h e t h e r m o s t a t h o u s i n g .
4. R emove t he scr ews t hat secur e the
cont rol to t he mounting br ac ket.
Caref ully work the contr ol out through
t h e o p e n i n g .
5 , D i s c o n n e c t t h e w i r e l e a d s , M e a s u r e
and recor d distance feeler tube is
i n s e r t e d i n h o u s i n g .
6 . P u l l t h e f e e l e r t u b e f r o m i t s h o u s i n g .
7. lf replacement cont rol doesn't hav e a
plast ic sleeve on f eeler tube, r emov e
the plastic sleeve f rom the ori ginal
contr ol f eeler t ube and inst all it on the
n e w c o n t r o l i n t h e s a m e m a n n e r .
8 . I n s e r t f e e l e r t u b e s a m e d i s t a n c e i n t o
h o u s i n g a s o r i g i n a l .
9 . I n s t a l l t h e r e p l a c e m e n t c o n t r o l i n t h e
reverse or der of rem oval.
