Chapter 29 SYS Error Messages
This chapter describes the error messages for the SYS facility.
Warning Messages
-SYS-W-BADPASSWD, incorrect password
Explanation:
Supplied password is invalid.
Recommended Action:
If you cannot remember the password, and it needs to be changed, enter boot prompt
at console and type "boot skipconfig=yes". This boots without processing the
configuration file and hence no password is set. To then modify the password, enter
"enable" mode, copy the configuration from startup to the scratchpad, modify the
password, save back to startup and reboot the system.
-SYS-W-NOPASSWD, no password for <system_name>, use 'system set pass-
word' to add one
Explanation:
This is simply a warning informing that the system has no security.
Recommended Action:
Enter config mode and set a system password using the 'system set password'
command.
-SYS-W-HEAP75FULL heap is at 75 percent of maximum usage
Explanation:
System is running low on DRAM.
