This chapter describes the error messages for the Ping facility.
-PING-E-BADVALUE invalid value (must be between <number> and <number>)
Explanation:
This message appears when the user specified a value that is out of range.
Recommended Action:
Type the value within the range specified in this error message.
-PING-E-MINVALUE value must be <min-_number> or higher
Explanation:
This message appears when the user specifies a value that is too low.
Recommended Action:
Type the value within the range specified in this error message.
-PING-E-NOMEM processing error - insufficient memory
Explanation:
The SSR-8 does not have enough memory too run ping. This could occur because the
system has too much memory tied up in different protocols.
Recommended Action:
Free up some memory and retry the PING operation.
