Prerequisites
The Coding protocol parameter has been set to H.264 on the Video Stream Parameters
page.
Procedure
Step 1 Choose Settings > Network Configuration > Stream Smoothing Parameters.
The Stream Smoothing Parameters page is displayed,as shown in
Figure 5-22 Stream Smoothing Parameters page
Step 2 Select Enable.
Step 3 Set TCP Stream smoothness coefficient and UDP Stream smoothness coefficient.
Step 4 Click Save.

5.4.6 Configuring MTU Parameters

You can set the Maximum Transmission Unit (MTU) parameters to configure the size of
packets transferred on the network.
Background
MTU means the largest packet of data that can be transmitted on a network. MTU size varies.
Procedure
Step 1 Choose Settings > Network Configuration > MTU Parameters.
The MTU Parameters page is displayed, as shown in

 When the smoothness coefficient is greater than 1, the limited bandwidth is 50 Mbit/s. When the
smoothness coefficient is 100, the limited bandwidth is 1 Mbit/s.
 A larger smoothness coefficient means a stricter restriction on the rate for sending data and a
stronger smoothness effect.
