Configuring User Login Restriction Parameters
Step 1 Log in to the Linux operating system as the admin user. Run the su - root command to
switch to the root user.
Step 2 Run the cd /usr/app/bin/ command.
Step 3 Run the ./help setsystemuserlock [ErrorNumber] [LockTime] command to configure the
user login restriction parameters.

After running the cd /usr/app/bin/ command, you can run the following commands to query
required information:




Issue 02 (2013-09-30)

To view the session ID, run the ./help getmedia command.
 To clear all media streams, run the ./help clear command.
[ErrorNumber] specifies the maximum number (1-99) of allowed incorrect password inputs. When the
number of consecutive login attempts reaches the maximum, the user account will be locked.
[LockTime] specifies the maximum interval (1-999, in minutes) that users are allowed to enter incorrect
passwords. When the number of consecutive login attempts reaches the maximum within this specified
period, the user account will be locked.
Run the ./help getsystemuserlock command to query the values of [ErrorNumber] and [LockTime].
./help getmedia: queries media stream messages.
./help getdevicetime: queries the start time and running time of the device.
./help getptzlocation: queries the current PTZ position.
Run the ./help getnetworkinfo command to query the network adapter information,
duplex mode, and network transmission rate.
