When connecting an IPC to the video surveillance platform, ensure that the watermark
function is enabled on the platform to prevent video from being tampered or deleted. In
addition, the encryption algorithm must be set to Advanced Encryption Standard (AES). For
details about how to set the encryption algorithm, see related platform documentation.
The following function(s) is disabled for IPCs by default: watermark function and the AES encryption
mode. The function(s) can be enabled only on the video surveillance platform that supports the
function(s).
