Verification
When an individual crosses the tripwire in the specified direction:

The surveillance area is too large.
The surveillance area is too small.
The behavior analysis function is disabled.

page.
Video alarm deployment is not selected on
the Alarm Deployment Policy page that is
displayed when you choose Settings >
Alarm Configuration > Alarm
Deployment Policy.

To delete a tripwire, select the tripwire ID from the tripwire list (only the selected sensitive area is
displayed in white on the live video image), click Delete.
A tripwire can be single direction, reverse direction, or bidirectional.
To change the direction of a tripwire, select the tripwire ID from the tripwire list and move the
mouse pointer onto the tripwire. When the mouse pointer changes to
and choose a tripwire direction from the shortcut menu that is displayed.
A maximum of five tripwires can be specified.
You can perform operations on only one tripwire at a time.
A maximum of 15 and 30 objects can be analyzed in close-up object and distant object modes
respectively.
When the resolution is set to 352 x 288, the system can analyze objects with a minimum size of 10 x
10, and a maximum size of 100 x 100 and 100 x 200 in distant object and close-up object modes
respectively. The values indicate limitations on the object area instead of the object's length or
height.
If the individual is marked with a red box and the individual's movement track is
displayed as a red line on the live video image, tripwire detection is successfully
configured.
If the individual is not marked on the live video image, tripwire detection is not properly
configured or not enabled.

Adjust the focal length and dimensions of
the surveillance area to ensure that the
intended object can be detected.
Enable the behavior analysis function.
Select the tripwire ID from the tripwire list
and click Enable/Disabled to enable the
tripwire.
Select Video alarm deployment.
