The Microsoft Windows XP or Windows 7 operating system is supported.
Use Internet Explorer 8 or Internet Explorer 9 to access the web page. Otherwise, some
functions on the web page are unavailable.
Do not enter double-byte digits or letters when setting parameters on the web client.
To ensure image quality during video browsing, you are advised to set the resolution to a
value ranging from 1024 x 768 to 1920 x 1080.
The PC where the web client is located and the IPC are advised to be on the same network
segment.
You have configured a Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) server and the
camera IP addresses can be automatically obtained. When a camera is connected to the
network where the DHCP server is deployed, an IP address is automatically allocated to
the camera. The platform can obtain the camera IP address.

You must set your web browser at your first login. For details, see
Table 4-1 Web browser settings
Description
The proxy has been disabled.
The ActiveX control and plug-ins have been
enabled or set to the prompt mode.
