Function
Records the information about operations performed
by operators or scheduled tasks. Operations about
local parameter settings are not recorded to logs.
Records system errors, When a fault occurs, you can
download logs and view the fault details.
Records temperature alarms, Boolean value input,
and mobility detection.
Debug logs record the debugging information used
by software developers or maintenance personnel.
Generally, the debug log function is disabled. For
details about how to enable the debug log, see
Appendix help Command
used to record the user operations and operation
instructions. To view run logs, log in to the Linux
operating system as the admin user. Run the su -
root command to switch to the root user, and check
the message.run file under /var/log.
Table 6-8
describes the functions of logs.

through serial port and run the operdetail
command.

system software restoration. To check the
sftp_update.log file under /usr/log/, log in
to the SSH system as the admin user and
switch to the root user.
Records information that the camera is
restarted by pressing the reset button. To
view the log, log in to the Linux operating
system as the admin user. Run the su - root
command to switch to the root user, and
