5.6 Configuring Alarm Parameters

This topic describes how to configure the alarm input and output, temperature alarm, alarm
deployment plans, alarm linkage policies.

5.6.1 Configuring Alarm I/O Parameters

Alarms can be triggered by Boolean value input.
Step 1 Choose Settings > Alarm Configuration > Alarm I/O.
The page for setting Boolean value alarm parameters is displayed, as shown in
Figure 5-31 Alarm I/O tab page

 The name of the scan line cannot be changed.
 Each scan line can record videos for a maximum of three minutes. If the scan line records videos for
more than three minutes, the PTZ will not record the rotation instructions and you cannot perform
operations on the PTZ camera. To perform operations on the PTZ camera, click Stop recording.
 To preview the configured scan line, click Preview.
 To stop the preview, click Stop.
