5.3.4 Configuring the Loitering Detection Function

The loitering detection function checks whether an object loiters in a sensitive area for a time
period longer than a specified duration. The system generates an alarm when a loitering object
is detected.
Prerequisite
Enable the behavior analysis function. For details, see
Switch.
Procedure
Step 1 Log in to the eSpace IP camera (IPC) web page as the system administrator.
Step 2 Choose Settings > Intelligent Analysis > Behavior Analysis Parameters.
The Behavior Analysis Parameters page is displayed.
Step 3 Set Behavior type to Loitering detection, as shown in

Step 4 Set Recognize mode, Loitering duration, and Alarm check interval.
