5.4.7 TCP Congestion Control

The TCP congestion control function helps reduce faults such as image freezing and artifacts
that are caused by unstable video streams in different network environments.
Background
The TCP congestion control function ensures stable video sending rate when random packet
loss occurs on a network and video smoothness by easing the problem of video data
accumulation on the source port caused by service overload on a congested network.
The TCP congestion control function is available only when the protocol used for transmitting
media streams is RTP over TCP.
Procedure
Step 1 Choose Settings > Network Configuration > TCP Congestion Control.
The TCP Congestion Control page is displayed, as shown in
Figure 5-24 TCP Congestion Control page
Step 2 Select Enable.
