5.3.2 Configuring Behavior Analysis Parameters
Behavior analysis includes intrusion detection, loitering detection, abandoned object detection,
removed object detection, and tripwire detection.
Operation Description
Behavior analysis parameters includes Intrusion detection, Loitering detection,
Abandoned object detection, Removed object detection, and Tripwire detection:
Procedure
Step 1 Choose Settings > Intelligent Analysis > Behavior Analysis Parameters.
The Behavior Analysis Parameters page is displayed, as shown in
lists the behavior analysis parameters.

Description
size of an object that can be detected in
the CIF resolution (352 x 288). For
example, if this parameter is set to 20 x
20, an object can be detected only when
its minimum size is 20 x 20.
Shadow removal mode. You can select a
value based on the shadow illuminance.
NOTE
When no shadow is detected, you are advised
to select Weak shadow to improve the
surveillance performance.
Motion detection sensitivity.
A higher sensitivity indicates a higher
detection rate, error report rate, and
occupied device performance.
Intrusion detection: detects objects intruded to the surveillance area.
Loitering detection: detects whether an object keeps loitering in the surveillance area
after a specified duration.
Abandoned object detection: detects objects abandoned in the surveillance area.
Removed object detection: detects removed objects in the surveillance area.
Tripwire detection: detects whether a person or an object crosses a specified tripwire in
a specified direction.
