Removing and Installing the Base

To remove the base, you need to shut down the system, remove the bezel, and remove
the top cover.
To shut down the system, go to "Shutting Down and Powering Off the System" on
page 161 and follow the steps through "Removing the Bezel" on page 162. Then go to
"Removing and Replacing the Plastics: Top and Base" on page 190, remove the top cover,
and return to this section.
1. On the base of the workstation, find the plastic release tab that is located in front of
the metal tab, as shown in Figure 7-32.
