About Serial Ports

The Octane2 workstation has two PC-compatible serial ports. You can also configure
these ports to operate in other modes. Adapter cables are available that simplify
interconnection for each of these modes. For more information, see "Serial Port Adapter
Cables" or Octane2 Hardware Central.
