Telephony Features Available for Cisco Unified IP Phone
Feature
Description
Secure Extension
Secure Extension Mobility Cross Cluster (EMCC) feature
Mobility Cross Cluster
enables a user configured in one cluster to log into a Cisco
Unified IP Phone in another cluster. The users from a
home cluster log into a Cisco Unified IP Phone at a
visiting cluster. The visiting cluster fails to log into home
cluster in secure mode.
Secure Conference
Allows secure phones to place conference calls by using
a secured conference bridge.
As new participants are added by using Confrn, Join,
cBarge, Barge softkeys or Meet-Me conferencing, the
secure call icon displays as long as all participants use
secure phones.
The Conference List displays the security level of each
conference participant. Initiators can remove nonsecure
participants from the Conference List. Noninitiators can
add or remove conference participants if the Advance
Adhoc Conference parameter is set.
Services
Allows you to use the Cisco Unified IP Phone Services
Configuration menu in Cisco Unified Communications
Manager Administration to define and maintain the list
of phone services to which users can subscribe.
Services URL Button
Allows users to access services from a programmable
button rather than by using the Services menu on a phone.
