Feature
Description
Onhook Predialing
Allows a user to dial a number without going off hook.
The user can then either pick up the handset or press the
Dial softkey.
Other Group Pickup
Allows a user to answer a call ringing on a phone in
another group that is associated with the user group.
Phone Screen
Allows user to disable phone screen illumination on a
Illumination Disabling
phone, which would override other rules that determine
when the phone screen gets illuminated.
(Cisco Unified IP Phone
7965G and 7945G only)
To provide this feature, you must implement the Display
URI, which includes configuring the length of time that
illumination remains disabled.
Phone Secure Web
Cisco Unified IP Phones can now securely access the web
Access
with the use of a phone trust store called "phone-trust."
Plus Dialing
Allows the user to dial E.164 numbers prefixed with a
"+" sign.
To dial the + sign, the user needs to press and hold the
"*" key for at least 1 second. This applies to dialing the
first digit for an on-hook or off-hook call only.
Presence-Enabled
Allows a user to monitor the call state of another directory
directories
number (DN) listed in call logs, speed dials, and corporate
directories. The Busy Lamp Field (BLF) for the DN
displays the call state.
Private Line Automated
The Cisco Unified Communications Manager
Ringdown (PLAR)
administrator can configure a phone number that the Cisco
Unified IP Phone dials as soon as the handset goes off
hook. This can be useful for phones that are designated
for calling emergency or "hotline" numbers.
