HANDLEBARS

REMOVING THE HANDLEBARS
1. Stand the motorcycle on a level surface.
WARNING
Securely support the motorcycle so that
there is no danger of it falling over.
2. Remove:
S grip end
S handlebar grip
NOTE:
Blow compressed air between the left handle-
bar and the handlebar grip, and gradually push
the grip off the handlebar.
3. Remove:
S left handlebar switch 1
S clutch lever holder 2
4. Remove:
S grip end
S right handlebar switch 1
S throttle grip 2
S front brake master cylinder 3

CHECKING THE HANDLEBARS
1. Check:
S left handlebar
S right handlebar
Bends/cracks/damage ! Replace.
WARNING
Do not attempt to straighten bent handle-
bars as this may dangerously weaken them.
