FRONT FORK

DISASSEMBLING THE FRONT FORK LEGS
The following procedure applies to both of the
front fork legs.
1. Loosen:
S nut 1
2. Remove:
S cap bolt 2
(from the damper rod assembly)
3. Remove:
S damper adjusting rod 1
S washer 2
S spacer 3
S fork spring
4. Drain:
S fork oil
NOTE:
Stroke the damper rod 1 several times while
draining the fork oil.
5. Remove:
S dust seal
S oil seal clip 1 (with a flat-head screwdriver)
CAUTION:
Do not scratch the inner tube.
6. Remove:
S damper rod assembly bolt
S copper washer
NOTE:
While holding the damper rod with the damper
rod holder 1 , loosen the damper rod assembly
bolt.
