SET MODE
n Set mode programming
Set mode is used to change the conditions of the trans-
ceiver's functions: Scan type, Scan resume timer, Beep tone,
Internal speaker, Display contrast, Microphone type and
Cursor movement.
Available functions may differ depending on dealer set-
ting.
NOTE: The transceiver automatically returns to the nor-
mal operation condition when no operation is performed
for 1 minutes in Set mode.

q While pushing and holding [⁄ 6 • C], push [POWER] to
enter Set mode.
• Turn power OFF in advance.
w After the display appears, release [⁄6 • C].
e Rotate [SELECTOR] to select the desired item, push
[ENT].
r Rotate [SELECTOR] to select the desired condition of the
item, push [ENT] to set.
t Push [CLR], or rotate [SELECTOR] to select "Exit"
then push [ENT] to exit Set mode and returns to normal
condition.
