ID Set mode operation

PTT ID function on the MDC 1200 system can send an Own ID with an Alert-Ring call to identify the callers� (p� 3-2)
You can rewrite the Own ID with the transceiver�
1� Turn OFF the transceiver�
2� Hold down [ ], [MONI], and [ ] to enter the ID
Set mode�
• "ID ST", and then the current Own ID is displayed�
3� Push [CH/SET] to edit the Own ID�
• The first digit of the current Own ID blinks�
4� Push [▲] or [▼] to select a number.
5� Push [CH/SET] to move to the right�
6� Repeat step 4 and step 5 to enter all 4 digits�
7� Push [ ] to turn OFF the transceiver to exit the ID
