Set mode entry

The Set mode is used to select option for the transceiver's functions.
❏ Set mode operation
1 Turn OFF the power.
2 While holding down [VOL/SQL], turn ON the power to
enter the Set mode.
• The starting item "bEEP" appears.

(The chart shows the default settings. Default values differ, depending on the transceiver version.)

SET MODE

3 While holding down [VOL/SQL], push [▲] or [▼] to
select an item.
• You can also select an item to push only [VOL/SQL].
4 Push [▲] or [▼] to select an item option.
5 Push [16/C] to exit the Set mode.
• Scan resume timer**
• LCD contrast
*For USA, EXP, CHN and AUS versions.
**Except for the NLD version.
*** The "CH Display" item is displayed for
each selectable channel group.
