UPS MAINTENANCE

Replacing the Electronics Module

The electronics module can be hot-swapped for easy replacement
without losing power to your equipment. The UPS automatically
switches to Bypass mode. Battery mode is not available; however, the
utility power continues to be passively filtered by the UPS.
If you prefer to remove input power to change the electronics module,
see "Turning the UPS Off" on page 34.
To replace the electronics module:

Disconnect the Extended Battery Module (EBM) cable, the remote
emergency power-off (REPO) cable, and the communication cable if
installed.
Remove the UPS front cover by pulling on both ends (see
Figure 30).

Remove the two screws on the left of the electronics module.
Remove the electronics module and retain the screws (see
Figure 31).
