Connecting the UPS Internal Battery

To ensure proper battery operation before installing the UPS:

NOTE A small amount of arcing may occur when connecting the batteries. This is normal
and does not damage the unit or present any safety concern.

Verify that the UPS is off and unplugged.
Remove the packing material (see Figure 2).

Connect the internal battery connector (see Figure 3).

Install the UPS front cover (see Figure 4).
