2. Unscrew three nuts (one in the upper left corner and two on the
bottom of the bracket) and set aside the battery retaining bracket
(see Figure 33).
3. Pull the battery out onto a flat, stable surface (see Figure 34). See
"Recycling the Used Battery or UPS" on page 53 for proper
disposal.
4. Slide the new battery into the UPS.
5. Reinstall the battery retaining bracket and nuts removed in Step 2.
6. Replace the UPS front cover.
