auth_priv - Specifies to support packet authentication and encrypting.
<auth_string 32> - Enter the authentication string. If v1 or v2 is specified, the auth_string
presents the community string, and it must be one of the entries in the community table. If v3
is specified, the auth_string presents the user name, and it must be one of the entries in the
user table.
udp_port - (Optional) Specifies the UDP port number. The default trap UDP port number is 162
<udp_port_number 0-65535> - Enter the UDP port number. This value must be between 0
and 65535.
Restrictions
Only Administrator level users can issue this command.
Example
To create a recipient of an SNMP operation:
DGS-3620-28SC:admin#create snmp host 10.48.74.100 v3 noauth_nopriv initial
Command: create snmp host 10.48.74.100 v3 noauth_nopriv initial
Success.
DGS-3620-28SC:admin#

94-17 delete snmp

Description
This command is used to delete a recipient of an SNMP trap operation.
Format
delete snmp [host <ipaddr> | v6host <ipv6addr>]
Parameters
host - Specifies the IP address of the SNMP host recipient to be deleted.
<ipaddr> - Enter the IP address of the SNMP host recipient to be deleted.
v6host - Specifies the IPv6 address of the SNMP host recipient to be deleted.
<ipv6addr> - Enter the IPv6 address of the SNMP host recipient to be deleted.
Restrictions
Only Administrator-level users can issue this command.
Example
To delete a recipient of an SNMP trap operation:
DGS-3620-28SC:admin#delete snmp host 10.48.74.100
Command: delete snmp host 10.48.74.100
Success.
