Paper Ironer

The paper ironer is extremely sharp. Exercise care when handling.
Removal
1. Remove the ribbon deck assembly as described on page 6–8.
2. Remove the shuttle assembly as described on page 6–18.
3. Loosen the four paper ironer mounting screws (1).
4. Slip the paper ironer (2) up and out from under the plate (3) and remove.
5. Remove any paper chaff from the paper ironer mounting area.
Installation
1. Place the paper ironer under the plate. Press down until the ironer is fully
seated.
2. Install two screws.
3. Install the shuttle assembly as described on page 6–20.
4. Install the ribbon deck assembly as described on page 6–8.
