Adding or editing Smart Agent interface objects
The Network Security console provides a way to add and edit Smart Agent
interface objects on the topology tree.
To add or edit a Smart Agent interface object

On the Devices tab, do one of the following:
Right-click the Smart Agent object for which you want to create an

interface, and click Add Smart Agent Interface from the pop-up menu.
Right-click an existing Smart Agent Interface object, and click Edit

from the pop-up menu.

In Add Smart Agent Interface or Edit Smart Agent Interface, enter a
descriptive name.

Enter an optional customer ID of up to 40 characters long.

Enter the IP address for the interface.

Enter the netmask for the interface.

In Description, enter an optional description of up to 255 characters, and
click OK.

Caution: Click Topology > Save Changes before quitting the Network
Security console. You will lose any unsaved changes when you exit.
