4. If a Delayed AutoDial Send job is stored in the memory, there may not be
enough memory to poll an entire page into memory before printing. In this case,
the Model 9930 will automatically poll directly to paper.
5. If the remote station you are polling does not have a polling Passcode, you can
still poll the other machine even if you have programmed a polling Passcode in
your Model 9930. If the remote station you are polling does have a polling
Passcode, your polling Passcode must match for the poll to be successful.

4.6.4 Bulletin Board/Unlimited Polling

1. Your Model 9930 is equipped with a Bulletin Board Feature. This allows a
document to be placed in memory and then polled a specified number of times
before being automatically erased. When you request POLL, this prompt will
appear: "HOW MANY TIMES?". For the 9930, you can enter up to 99 and then
press YES or just press YES (to poll once).
The System will erase a polling job after the specified number of pollings. You
may press "00" for unlimited Poll times.
2. You can still receive another fax in the usual manner even if you have
programmed a document to be polled.
3. You can still send a document if you have programmed a document to be
polled from memory.
4. There is no universal polling standard. It may not be possible for certain non-
Pitney Bowes machines to poll your machine or Bulletin Board.

4.6.5 Sequential Polling

The Model 9930 allows you to poll a group or list of numbers, one at a time, by
using previously stored One Touch Keys and P-Keys. If you wish to sequentially
poll a group of numbers containing previously stored Speed Dial numbers or
random telephone numbers, this can be done with a programmable AutoDial Job
(up to 30). See Section 5.3.2 (Polling With Programmable AutoDial Jobs) for the
procedures to poll using this method.
