When adding a new distribution where the specified Protocol and Source ID do not exist on the device,

it will not be rejected but a static distribution list will be created instead.

The Additional Notes tab of the EIGRP Management window contains the Notes area which is a text box
that allows you to type in additional notes.

Distribution List Tab
description.
ACL ID—Unique identifier of an ACL for filtering routing updates sent/received by a routing
process.
Interface—Identifies a particular interface that the filter is applied to.
Protocol—Source routing protocol from which routes are being distributed into EIGRP. This field
may have the following values:

OSPF
–
EIGRP
BGP
–
static
–
Direction—Indicates whether the filter will be applied against routing updates received by the
routing process or advertised by the routing process.
Source ID—Identifies a specific routing process instance that redistributed routes are derived from.
Add ACL Distribute—Specifies a filter for suppressing or allowing distribution of network routes
through EIGRP routing process.
Del ACL Distribute—Removes a filter for suppressing or allowing distribution of network routes
through EIGRP routing process.
