The Layer 3 area contains the following information:

You can select one chassis, more than one module, more than one interface, and more than one
sub–interface at a time from the object list on the left side of the window.
The POS Sub–Interface Advanced Configuration window contains one area named General.
General:
CDP—Indicates the status of CDP on the selected interface, enabled or disabled.

Local Proxy ARP—Indicates the status of local proxy ARP on the selected interface, enabled

or disabled.
IP Address—Displays the IP address of the Layer 3 interface.
Netmask—Subnet mask of the IP address. Enabled bits indicate network addressing bits in the IP
address.
Clear IP—Remove the IP address setting for this interface.
