7.8 Exporting and Importing Wireless Switch Settings
All of the configuration settings for the WS 2000 Wireless Switch can be saved to a configuration file and
then either imported back into the same switch or transferred to another switch. This file-based
configuration saving feature provides several benefits:
• It can speed the switch setup process significantly at sites using multiple WS2000 wireless switches.
• It allows an administrator to "backup" the current switch configuration before making significant
changes, before restoring the default configuration, or for precautionary measures.
