As more people are using computers and becoming connected to
the World Wide Web, using electronic mail for commerce and as a
primary communication method has become more commonplace.
With that in mind, if you are a small business owner, consultant
or service provider, you can make use of Pagis Pro and electronic
mail to send invoices to your customers.
Using the form fill-in tools of the Pagis Editor, you can scan a
blank invoice and fill it in electronically. Then, you can e-mail the
XIF document along with the Pagis MiniViewer as an attachment
to the customer.
To make sure the customer can view and print the invoice, you
can also e-mail the Pagis MiniViewer with the document. Note,
however, that the MiniViewer does not support viewing
annotations (sticky notes, margin notes, and filled-in forms).
The customer can return a printed copy of the invoice with his or
her payment.
For more information, refer to:
"Scanning and Typing Into a Form" (Chapter 3)
"Forms menu" (Chapter 4)
"E-mailing a XIF image" (Chapter 3)
"Viewing and printing documents with Pagis Document Viewer"
(Chapter 4)
If you have a fax modem on your computer, you can use Pagis Pro
to scan annual reports, proposals, and other business documents
and fax them to clients.
