File menu
The File menu in the Document Viewer includes the standard
Windows commands—Open, Properties, Print, Page Setup, and
Exit, with some differences noted in Table 4–1.
Table 4–1. File menu commands in the Pagis Document Viewer
Command Function
Open
Allows you to open a different document in the
current Pagis Document Viewer. Since the
Document Viewer can only hold one document at a
time, the first document is closed when the second
document is opened.
Properties
Displays the standard Properties dialog box. If the
document is in a search database, you can add Title,
Author, and Keywords; once you enter this
information you can also update your search
database from the Properties dialog box.
Print Setup Only available when the displayed document is in a
spreadsheet form (such as Excel), this command
displays a dialog box that allows you to specify
various page scaling options for printing the
spreadsheet.
Print
Displays the standard Print dialog box, allowing you
to print the displayed document on your default
system printer.
Exit
Closes the displayed document and exits the
Document Viewer.
