Replacing the Lithium Cell CMOS Battery
This section pertains only to the MARS 100, 100E, 200, GCM, and GC appliances.
Take proper electrostatic discharge (ESD) measures before physically touching the appliance.
Note
If the CMOS battery needs replacement, follow these steps:
Turn the appliance's power off.
Step 1
Unplug the appliance from the wall electrical socket.
Step 2
Locate the lithium cell CMOS battery.
Step 3
Remove it.
Step 4
Step 5
Set the new battery in its place.
Step 6
Plug the appliance into the electrical socket in the wall.
Turn the appliance's power on.
Step 7
There is the danger of explosion if the battery is replaced incorrectly. Replace the battery only with

the same or equivalent type recommended by the manufacturer. Dispose of used batteries according
to the manufacturer's instructions. Statement 1015
