Much of the system maintenance information for the MARS Appliance is provided exclusively in the
Install and Setup Guide for Cisco Security Monitoring, Analysis, and Response System.
The MARS Appliance requires little maintenance. To perform maintenance tasks, you can use the CLI
or the web interface as needed. Some hardware maintenance tasks require physical access to the MARS
Appliance.

Setting Runtime Logging Levels

To set the appliance's runtime logging levels, navigate to Admin > System Maintenance > Set Runtime
Logging Levels. For typical use, it is best to leave this page set to its defaults.
When you have made your selections, click the Change Logging Levels button.
