Printer Error Messages
If the error message continues to occur after implementing the possible solutions
from the table below, call your service person.
Possible Cause
Attempting to perform a function
before the printer has initialized.
Attempting to perform a function
during the initialization process.
Attempting to perform a function
while the printer is busy performing
another function.
Paper cassette is empty and the
paper path sensors do not detect
paper.
Printer has run out of paper and the
tail end of the paper has been
rewound to the paper supply area.
"Load Paper" was selected when
paper was already loaded.
The paper supply door was left
open.
The front door was left open.
The back door was left open.
The takeup door was left open.
A low level motor move command
was issued while the timer motor
was in use.
