Note
The TJ1-FL02 does not have a termination inside. In case of long
distances or disturbed communication, add an external termination
to the TJ1-FL02.

The TJ1-FL02 can interface directly
to Tamagawa "SmartAbs" absolute
encoders. Tamagawa encoders
respond on a dedicated 2.5 MHz
RS485 serial interface when their
position is requested by the
controller. When you set the
encoder to the relevant encoder
mode, the axis transmits an
information request to the encoder
on a fixed 250 µs cycle. The data
returned is available to BASIC and
you can use it to drive a servo
motor.
