The following diagram outlines the way in which positioning sequences are
written to the PCU.
CPU Unit
C: Beginning address of data.
S: Beginning word address of
transfer source.
W: Transfer destination unit
number and number of transfer
words.
Data
Refer to 5-4-2 IOWR: INTELLIGENT I/O WRITE or the CS/CJ-series Pro-
grammable Controllers Instruction Reference Manual (W340) for details on
how to set the operands for the IOWR instruction.
1. Set IOWR.
C: Beginning address of the data area in the PCU where the data is to be
stored.
S: Beginning word address of the area in the CPU Unit in which the data
has been set.
W: Unit number of the PCU which is the transfer destination, and the total
number of words to be read.
2. Set the data.
Set the data in the area designated by S.
3. Write the data.
Execute IOWR.
