Tensioning the Belts in the PFDD4 Outer Link
Electrical Shock
Before tensioning the timing belts, the AC power should be disconnected. Removing the
front cover allows access to the AC power terminals.
Tools Required
Gates Sonic Belt Tension Meter, Model 508C

3.0 mm hex driver or hex L wrench
l
2.5 mm hex driver or hex L wrench

2.0 mm hex ball driver or hex L wrench

Move the robot arm to a convenient height to allow access to the outer link of the robot.

Turn off the robot power and remove the AC power cord.
