Adding a Group of Tags

Adding individual tags to a device is useful when you have a small number of tags.
However, you may have a set of multiple tags you would like to apply to a group of
devices. FBxEdge enables you to package that set of tags into a comma-separated variable
(.CSV) file, which it outputs as a Microsoft
to any defined device.
3.4.2.1

Creating the CSV File

To create the .CSV file:
1. From the Tags page, select the appropriate tags.
2. Click the Download icon from the tool bar located in the upper right of the Tags page.
A drop-down menu displays, enabling you to either download all tags for all devices
or download the selected tags for the selected device.
3. When you select an option, FBxEdge creates the download file using the current year-
month-day (such as tag-2023-06-08.csv) as a filename, places the file in your PC's
Downloads folder, and displays a notification pop-up.

Uploading the CSV File

To upload the .CSV file:
1. From the Tags page, click the Add Tag icon from the tool bar and select the Upload
CSV menu option.
