Certificates

The Certificates pane stores certificates locally in FBxEdge: .
The Device Certificate tab allows you to add and refresh SSL certificates.
The Custom CA Certificates tab allows you to add a default self-signed
certificate, making all communications secure by default. A certificate is
required only if you want to give the device a DNS name and remove the
browser's security warning.
The Identity tab allows you to view and copy the Device Public Key and install,
download or copy the Certificate Signing Request.
The public key is used to authenticate data coming from FBxEdge. This requires
a private key for the device and a server with all the device's public keys.
The Identity Certificates section in the Identity tab allows you to Install an
identity certificate locally, and view, copy, and download a certificate signing
request.
The Certificate Signing Request is a block of encoded text that you can give to a Certificate
Authority when applying for an SSL certificate. It also contains the public key that is
included in the certificate. A private key is usually created while you create the Certificate
Signing Request, making a key pair.
