External Storage

Select the External Storage option on the Navigation panel to open the Mount Points
pane. Use the Mount Points pane to mount and manage network storage. This enables
you to share the same storage location with all marketplace applications. Network
storage expands the storage pool and facilitates enterprise backup/restore processes.
You can use either CIFS or FTP to mount external storage. Before you can add a CIFS
mount point in FBxEdge, you must make a shared folder for Windows 10 or Linux.

Policy Management

Note
You must be an administrator to view the Policy Management pane.
Use the Policy Management pane to modify current policies. Default policies are part of
the System module and are added during installation or upgrade.
Password Policy
You can modify a password policy from the Password Policy section. Password
requirements are applied when you reset your password or create user
accounts in FBxEdge.
Notes
Disk Space Policy
You can add or modify a disk space policy from the User Limit panel in the Disk
Space Policy section. Before saving the policy, you must also select a Warning
or Stop Data Collection action.
The System Limit (the amount of disk space reserved for the system) cannot be
modified. You can add a policy for additional disk space for user data from the User
Limit. You cannot assign less disk space than what is reserved for the System Limit.
This means that if you have added a policy for additional disk space, the system either
warns you about the disk space limit or stops the data collection (depending on your
settings) when the disk space you have designated has been reached. You can view
any warnings from System > Events.
Some passwords (such as FTP and OPC UA) are system-generated and are part of
the password policy.
Saving or resetting a password policy saves it to the system configuration file.
