If the System Limit is exceeded, an immediate stop data collection action occurs. If the
User Limit is low, a 10-minute delay occurs before a Warning or Stop Data Collection
action occurs. Service is restored once disk space becomes available.
When you view the Data Partition Usage section in System > Info, you can view the
used, available, and total disk space. This helps you determine how much disk space
you should add to the User Limit policy.

License

Important
License keys are perpetual, although each license is linked to a specific version of
FBxEdge. As subsequent versions of FBxEdge occur, customers who are current with the
yearly subscription/contract receive the corresponding revised license. Customers who
are not current cannot upgrade to the most-current version unless they re-subscribe, at
which point the license for the new version of software is provided.
FBxEdge supports two types of licenses:
Node-locked

Each license is locked to an edge device
Site

Activated with a license server embedded in FBxEdge Manager. During the
activation of an edge device activation, this server can provide a site-license,
which offers an unlimited usage of devices (except for configurable tag limits
and reservations). You can define the limit (upper limit) and reservation (lower
limit) of assets such as tags for each site license.
The License pane includes the following sections:
Installed Features: Allows you to view the currently installed modules, as well

as view and configure the number of devices and tags allowed under your
license
License: Allows you to add a standard license to replace the trail license,

upgrade a license, add additional licenses to increase the number of devices
and tags, or add new modules, as well as to remove licenses
Version: Allows you to view the currently installed FBxEdge version

Trial Licenses
A trial license is valid for 15 days. During the trial period, notifications indicate the
remaining number of days that the trial license is valid. Once a purchasing decision is
made, a permanent license is issued. A trial license includes the following:
