Using Wildcards

Another option for exporting topics in bulk to MQTT is to use wildcards in the local topic.
NATS topics accept two types of wildcards:
* (asterisk)
Matches a single topic (token) in the topic format. For example, if an application
wanted to listen for eastern time zones, it could subscribe to time.*.east, which would
match time.us.east and time.eu.east (us and eu replacing the asterisk)
> (greater than)
Matches one or more tokens and can occur only at the end of the subject. In this
case, time.us.> matches time.us.east and time.us.east.atlanta.
In this example, time.us.* could match only time.us.east, since it is limited to matching a
single token. .
Note
For an outbound topic, the remote topic cannot have wildcards but the local topic can
have wildcards. Conversely, for an inbound topic, the local topic cannot have wildcards
but the remote topic can have wildcards.
Once you are done setting up the topics, make sure the topic you would like to use are
enabled, and enable the MQTT connector. Its new connected state is CONNECTED and
green:
