SDK X-ray Detector Software
T-series software is comprised of two parts: client libraries which reside on the host PC and
detector software loaded on the detector. The SDK provides an optimized API through a C or
C++ programming language interface.
The main functions of the API are used to implement and manage the following X-ray detector
functions:

Image acquisition
•
Offset calibration
•
Gain calibration
•
Diagnostics: monitoring
•
Configurations
The X-ray detectors allow a single active connection only. While an active
connection is maintained, all additional attempts to connect will result in an

error or exception. Once the active connection is terminated, other
workstations may try to connect to the X-ray detector.
Detector software is pre-loaded before it leaves the Varex Imaging factory.
Installation is not required. Detector software is provided in a detector
update package ZIP file. The name of the file will contain the detector name,
interface, and software version.
Note
Viva Pro or the DUT tool is used to apply the update package.
