Caution
Accessory or optional equipment connected to the analog and digital
interfaces must be certified to the respective IEC standards (i.e. IEC
60950-1 for data processing equipment and IEC 60601-1 for medical
equipment). All configurations shall comply with the system standard
IEC 60601-1-1. Anyone connecting additional or optional equipment to
the signal inputs or signal outputs as part of a configuration for
medical equipment is responsible for compliance with the equipment
standard IEC 60601-1. Consult Varex technical support personnel with
any questions.
Do not turn ON the power supply or X-ray detector when
condensation is on the X-ray detector or any of its components or
accessories. Ignoring this warning may cause electrical shock, which
may result in severe personal injury, death, or substantial product
damage.
To avoid risk of electric shock, this equipment must only be connected
to a supply main with protective earth.
Never disassemble, modify, or alter the X-ray detector, its components,
or accessories. Ignoring this warning may cause electrical shock and/or
unknown hazards, which may result in severe personal injury, death,
or substantial product damage.
Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the manufacturer
could void the user's authority to operate the equipment.
Do not touch the interface and power supply or cable and the patient
at the same time. Do not let the patient touch the interface and power
supply or cable. Ignoring this warning may cause electrical shock and/
or unknown hazards, which may result in severe personal injury,
death, or substantial product damage.
The X-ray detector is not sealed against dripping moisture. All care
must be taken to ensure that moisture does not enter the X-ray
detector. Failure to do so will cause the X-ray detector to fail and/or
cause damage.
Place the X-ray detector horizontally on a flat, stable surface. If the
X-ray detector is placed vertically or in any tilted position, the X-ray
detector must be securely placed in the Bucky tray or securely fastened
to the X-ray detector enclosure or support structure. Ignoring this
caution may result in personal injury or damage to the product.
