Minimum Computer Requirements

Varex Imaging recommends the following minimum desktop computer requirements for use
with the Azure 3131Z and 4131Z X-ray detectors:
•
OS: Microsoft Windows 10 & 11 (Version 21 H2 or later)
•
CPU: Intel Core i5-9600K; 3.7 GHz
•
Motherboard: Mini-ITX (recommended) with at least one ×4, ×8(×4) or ×16(×4) Gen 2, 3, or 4
PCIe slot(s).
•
RAM: Two - 8GB DDR4-2666 So-DIMM memory modules or better (16GB total)
•
Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable (x64) - 11.0.61030 The interface requirements are
shown in Table 9.

Installing the Cables

Before powering up and using your detector, you must have all the necessary interface cards,
cables, external power supply and computer connected. Please make sure that you have all your
components available and installed before starting.
You will need the appropriate Ethernet card and cable that came with your detector package to
connect the computer to the detector.
