NEAR: If using BV CAB or Con-
nected TV, the infrared transmitter
plugs in to this connection at the
base of the unit and adheres to
the front of the STB.
FAR: If using BV CAB or Connect-
ed TV, connect the facility ether-
net from here to run to the A/V
closet. In the A/V closet, use a
coupler to attach the Infrared
Transmitter cable and adhere it
to the front of this unit's STB.
Infrared Cabling
Both MYE and BV use a stick-on IR transmitter. This transmitter is adhered to the front of the set top
box, directly in line with the Remote Control IR Receiver. If this is not marked, some experimentation
may be necessary to find out where this works best before adhering it. Link to

Near or Far
HDMI
If the STB is NEAR, one option is
to run the output of the STB to the
unit using HDMI cables. The sig-
nal is routed up to the embedded
TV. Setting the console to
STB+HDMI allows the TV to show
the content from the HDMI
source.

Coax
The output of the STB can be run
to the unit using Coax for NEAR
or FAR installations. This con-
nects at the base of the unit and
sends the signal to the embedded
TV. Setting the console to
STB+Tuner, and then scanning
for channels to find the one chan-
nel the cable box is on, allows the
TV to show the cable box output.
