9 Troubleshooting

Malfunction
Nothing works.
The patient chair does not
move.
Display does not work.
Control panel does not work.
Turbine making loud running
noises.
Satelec Mini LED / KaVo Poly
One does not work.
No cold light on the hand-
pieces.
No spray in the handpieces.
No water in the tumbler and
spittoon bowl
9 Troubleshooting
NOTE
In case of malfunction, consult the separate instructions for the use and care
of the respective instruments (e.g., turbine, motor, camera, etc.).
Cause
Main switch is off.
Main service fuse inter-
rupted the electric cir-
cuit.
The safety shutdown is
activated. (LED on the
control panel flashes.)
Bus / hardware error.
Bus / hardware error.
Turbine wheel faulty.

Cold light not preselec-
ted.
The high-pressure lamp
or LED lamp on the
handpiece is defective.
No spray preselected.
Ring for controlling the

is closed. Spray throttle

trol valve.
The main water valve in
the office is closed.
The compressor is not
turned on.
Water bottle is empty.
No air pressure in the
unit.
Remedy
4 Turn on the main switch.
4 Unplug the unit from the mains.
4 Check and replace, if required, the main
service fuse. The main service fuse is situ-
ated next to the master switch.
4 For this purpose, open the bayonet clos-
ure with a screwdriver and replace the
fine-wire fuse. (T 6.3 H Mat. no.
0.223.2783).
4 Then re-close the bayonet closure with
the screwdriver.
4 Check the safety shutdown and eliminate
the reason for the shutdown.
4 Turn the device off and on.
4 Consult a service technician if the problem
persists.

4 Replace turbine wheels. Follow the oper-
ating instructions for the turbine hand-
piece.
4 Preselect cold light.
4 Replace the high-pressure lamp or LED
lamp. Also refer to: Instructions for Use of

4 Check setting on butterfly valves of the
dentist element.
4 Open the ring for controlling the spray on
the handpieces.
4 Check setting on butterfly valves of the
dentist element.
4 Open main valve.
4 Turn on the compressor.
4 Fill the water bottle.
4 Turn on the compressor.
